RankSWAT Privacy Policy
RankSWAT respects user privacy. This policy explains how data is collected, used, protected, retained, deleted where applicable, and what rights you may have when using the RankSWAT website, app, services, features, or integrations.
1) Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to:
- The RankSWAT website
- The application or dashboard
- Analysis tools and reports
- Projects connected to the account
- Integrations connected by the user
- Free, paid, and trial features
- APIs and future integrations where covered by or linked to this policy
2) Types of Data We May Collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect or process the following categories of data:
A) Account Data
Such as:

- Username
- Plan or subscription details
- Account settings
- Usage preferences

B) Technical and Operational Usage Data
Such as:

C) Analysis and Project Data

D) Connected Service Data
If you connect external services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or others, we may process the data, permissions, or tokens necessary to deliver the features related to that integration within the service.
E) Payment Data
Payments may be processed through authorized providers. We may receive limited data related to payment status, invoice state, or transaction success or failure, without retaining full payment method details in our systems except where operationally or legally necessary.
F) Lifetime Account Verification Data
For periodic Lifetime account verification only, we may request:
- A valid official government ID
- And/or a short verification video when needed
This is handled in a narrow scope and under strict controls, as described in this policy and the Terms.
G) Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to run the website, improve stability, support functional memory, security, or general performance.
3) How We Use Data
We may use processed data for:
- Creating and managing accounts
- Operating the service and delivering requested features
- Running analysis, reports, and outputs
- Managing projects and integrations
- Protecting accounts and the platform, and preventing fraud or abuse
- Detecting unusual behavior, account sharing, or limits abuse
- Improving service stability, quality, accuracy, and user experience
- Rechecking or validating outputs and improving output quality

- Enforcing the Terms and internal policies
- Complying with legal or operational requirements when needed
4) Use of Google Data and Data Directly Connected by the User
We treat this category of data with special care.
Any data coming from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or any other service directly connected by the user is processed only within RankSWAT for service-related purposes, including operating requested features, improving the user experience within the user’s own account, managing integrations, security, error detection, and legitimate internal service operation.
We do not:
- Sell this data
- Rent this data
- Share it with third parties for marketing purposes
- Share it for competitive purposes
- Use one user’s data for competitor analysis for another user
- Enable other users to benefit from your connected account data
Competitor analysis relies on public, independent, or otherwise authorized data sources, not on private connected account data belonging to other users.
Google API Services User Data Policy
RankSWAT handles information received from Google APIs in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy and, where applicable, its Limited Use requirements.
5) Do We Sell or Rent Data?
No. We do not sell personal data, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing or competitive purposes.
6) When We May Share Data
We may share some data only to the extent necessary in the following cases:
- With providers or technical infrastructure necessary to deliver, maintain, or secure the service
- For payment processing, billing, or subscription management
- Where there is a legal obligation or binding official request
- To protect the platform, users, rights, safety, or security
- In restructuring, transfer, merger, or sale scenarios, with appropriate protections maintained
This does not change our commitment not to sell, rent, or misuse data for prohibited marketing or competitive purposes.
7) Projects, Public Analysis, and Authority Over Digital Assets
RankSWAT may allow analysis of public pages or websites without requiring an external account connection, subject to relevant technical restrictions.
However, when you:
- Create a project
- Verify a digital asset
- Connect Google or any other service
- Enable features that require asset control
We rely on your representation that you have the appropriate right or legitimate control over that asset or account.
8) Analysis Results and Historical Records
RankSWAT retains analysis results, historical records, and scan-related data for operational and professional purposes, including:
- Allowing users to return to their results
- Supporting ongoing product improvement
- Rechecking and validating outputs
- Improving system accuracy and output quality
- Quality and stability review
- Security and abuse prevention
This retention does not mean we sell your data, disclose it to others, or use sensitive verification materials or personal data in ways that conflict with this policy.
9) Disconnecting Integrations and Deleting Tokens
When disconnecting an external integration such as Google Search Console or Google Analytics:
- We may delete the token, terminate the linked authorization, or stop using it
- We may retain historical reports, results, or records previously generated inside the account before disconnection
Users may also revoke RankSWAT access from their connected Google account permissions at any time. Historical reports or records generated before revocation may remain retained as described in this policy.
10) Identity Verification for Lifetime Accounts
For periodic Lifetime account verification cases:
- We accept only official government identification documents
- A video may be requested where necessary
- Review is done manually
- The first routine check may occur after 4 years
- It may then recur periodically once every year
- The user may submit verification two weeks before the scheduled date
- Failure to respond within one week may lead to account restriction
- The user may complete verification within three weeks after restriction before final suspension
Protection of Verification Data
We treat verification materials with very high sensitivity. Therefore:
- They are not used for training, analysis, or model improvement
- Access is limited to a special team under strict controls
- Visible or used data is minimized to what is necessary for verification
- Some sensitive identity fields may be hidden or masked automatically while preserving what is necessary to verify identity, such as the name, document validity, and holder image where needed
- These materials may be permanently deleted once the verification is accepted or rejected, or where resubmission is requested due to lack of clarity
11) Data Retention Periods
We retain data as long as necessary to:
- Provide the service
- Improve it
- Maintain operational records
- Protect the platform
- Prevent fraud
- Enforce the Terms
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes, complaints, or reviews
When an account is closed or deletion is requested
The user may request deletion of their data. In that case, we may delete:
- Account data
- Personal data linked to the account
- Internally retained payment-related data, if any
- Privacy and account-linkage data associated with the account
However, we may retain certain excluded records, especially:
- Scan history
- Security records
- Records necessary to prevent fraud or enforce the Terms
- What is required legally, technically, or operationally
12) Security
We apply reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect data from:
- Unauthorized access
- Unlawful disclosure
- Alteration, loss, or misuse
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed as 100% secure, and therefore we cannot provide an absolute guarantee against all technical risks.
13) Your Rights
Depending on the service context and what practically applies, you may have the right to:
- Access some of your data
- Correct some data
- Request deletion of some data
- Request integration disconnection
- Request account closure
- Object to some decisions related to your account, device, or network

15) Younger Users
RankSWAT does not rely on age verification as a standard part of registration or usage. However, use of the service remains the user’s responsibility and must comply with any laws or restrictions applicable in the user’s jurisdiction.
